Using Definition in Order to Create Openings

How many times has someone else defined you as something?  "You’re silly.  You’re different.  You’re smart.  You’re stupid.  You’re ridiculous…"  What are your responses to being defined?

How have you been defining yourself?  What are your responses to the way you have been defining yourself?  Are you resisting your own definitions?  LOL  Just so you know, this can be the same as a poking a hornets’ nest.  Go for it, though!  Discover all of the ways that defined limitations surround you.

Staying true to your definitions isn't always Truth.  Too much definition can result in a monochromatic reality.

Staying true to your definitions isn't always Truth.  Too much definition can result in a monochromatic reality.

For instance, define yourself as something outside of the norm.  “I get younger every year.”  Go ahead and make this statement.  Does it ring a true to you?  Do you believe it?  Would anyone else believe it?  Defining yourself doesn’t always begin as something believable, but you can construct this a truth into your reality when you choose.

When you encounter a definition of yourself or someone else that is limiting, instead of resisting it, use it to favorably change the conditions of your reality.  Boldly define yourself and persistently institute this definition.

What does it mean "To define yourself"?

  • State your definition in the face of those who will not believe it.

  • State your definition around those who are willing to consider it.

  • State your definition to yourself and ask for it to appear.

You can allow others to define your reality, or you can define your reality.  Which sounds more agreeable and fun?
