Connectivity - Cute Animals

Connectivity

Do spiders creep you out? Does connecting with certain people creep you out? Do certain jobs make your skin crawl? Does change frighten you?

Who do you like? Who don’t you like?
What do you like? What don’t you like?

What are your reasons? Go ahead - consider it. Are these truly your reasons? Maybe they are. Maybe they were. Maybe they aren’t any more.

This Super Cute Spider Reminds You To Be Connected!

What are you seeking? Do you feel connected to it?

Perhaps, it is better to inquire in a different way. Have you been creating by connection or have you been creating by rejection lately? Are you creating connections with the things you seek? Or are you creating connections with the things which you reject? What are some new ways for you to create through connection that will benefit?

For example: Have you ever been confronted by an obstacle which seems to block your progress? In this situation, one may confront. One may struggle. One may run away. One may blame. One may also come up with reasons which justify the power of the obstacle. Each of these examples are rejections of an obstacle. What are some new ways to include your obstacles that also include successful outcomes?

Are you not sure how this works? This little guy will help you! How many people are afraid of spiders? Granted, some species are more alarming than others, but is it valid to reject spiders because many people don’t like them? Do you have justifications for fears which disempower you?

I will admit that our little friend in the photo is cute to me because it is in the photo and not climbing up my sleeve at this moment. Even so- if it were climbing up my sleeve, I would respond calmly. Oddly enough, this was not always the case for me. It seems impossible now, but I used to be irrationally afraid of spiders until I discovered their capacities for interconnection:

  • Seeing multiple perspectives as one.

  • Changing directions easily and dynamically while maintaining stability.

  • Spiritual growth.

  • Impermanence.

  • Invisibility.

  • Open Receptivity.

  • Weaving

Once I partook in spider medicine, my entire world changed. I’m not afraid of spiders anymore. I’m also not afraid of the gifts that spider brings.

What does spider represent for you, and in which new ways are you able to connect with it?
